Dear Loved Ones,

            Pleasant Greetings from Sacramento, CA, USA!  Happy to be back to my California home after my 2-months respite in Pinas – after glorious Easter with the celebration of all traditional rituals, missing them for nine years; Much Thanks GOD for all the Blessings!

The Holy Week traditional ceremonies were attended at the Sto. Domingo Church: Stations of the Cross, Palm Sunday Mass, Wednesday Retreat, Holy Saturday rituals, 7 Last words (aired over GMA 7TV, very colorful / musical), veneration of the Cross, Easter Sunday salubong, and many others, together with my hubby Gerry. He missed Holy Saturday Mass with me as he served as ‘Apostoles’ at the St. Scholastica College church with Last Supper as commitment to his community. He also serves Lector/commentator there. The week was culminated with our sumptuous Easter lunch at Italiani’s Shangrila with NVSC couples Ozone and Christy, and Svein and Arlene (hosts); so generous we even had bread bags to go.

I made sure that FSAC office stuff were settled before I left, like Renewal of License matters, preparation for the ISO audit. I am glad that Gerry is highly motivated to consider handling the ISO issues directly, after some boosting and compliments. With the principal’s  and ship owners’ support and progress, we are definitely inspired to forge higher in our life mission.

            I have resumed my routine in America, such as work, church activities (Masses, adoration, library duties, Opus Dei, movies, etc.
Other highlights:
·      My regular work-outs in our gym has to be doubled to make for missed time while in Pinas, with all the eating done there;
·      Dedication to my church commitments as Eucharistic Minister, Adoration chapel time including additional hours as substitute when called,
·      In Pinas, I was also kept busy furnishing our 24H BGC condo unit with new items – bed, dining set, refrigerator, vertical white blinds for living and bedrooms (white is required by management), water heater, 60 inches TV was provided by Gerry; and did inventory of items brought from our storage. I have received several offers to lease our unit but I am taking my time to commit since I would rather that my family enjoy using it for a while before leasing it;
·      Back to my regular routine of house works: wake up early to prepare baon for Sean (he requests double lunch), ironing, and general upkeep; Upon my arrival, Sean bought new iron board (kabayo) and a set of walis and dustpan ( feeling katulong talaga), LOL!
·      Communicating continuously with our contacts in our SAGA 1965 Golden Reunion FB website; we pray for maximum participation in our Feb. 21, 2015 event! We are now going into details of the activities. . .
·      Movies watched: Fast and Furious 7, The Longest Ride (Scott Eastwood), Mall Cop 2, Age of Adaline (Blake Lively), Avengers: Age of Ultron (Robert Downey Jr.);
·      Books read: Live Passionately by Fr. Cedric Pesigna, CP; John Duns, Scotus, Marian Doctor, by Fr. Stefano Manelli; Roses among Thorns, by St. Francis de Sales; The Lord’s Prayer, by Romani Guardini;

Attached are 4 photos with family and friends. Let us continue to pray for our country and people. Peace and Joy to You and God Bless Us All!

Much love and Best Regards!!!
